What products do you use?I use a premium Soy Wax, wood wicks, cotton such for shapes, fragrance oils and biodegradable glitter. Any dyes added to coloured shapes are high quality pigments.
-
Why soy wax?Soy wax is made from soya wan and is suitable for homes that are vegan. It burns clear when heated and slower than other waxes. It also, unlike paraffin wax. does not produce black soot in the vessel.
-
Wood wicks...When lighting your wood wick for the first time you may notice it goes out straight away. Simply relight it again to get the flame established. This may make a crackle noise which is completely normal. Relax & enjoy!
-
Burning your candlesOnly burn your candles for a maximum of 4 hours at a time. This is so the candle gives your room maximum fragrance at a time. DO NOT burn your candle to the bare glass as this can risk the glass cracking. Cutting the wick before each lighting will also remove any carbon deposits of wood.
-
Burn timeOur medium, Citronella & luxury lidded candles burn for approximately 35 hours Large 3 wick candles burn for approximately 45 hours Tins burn for approximately 15-20 hours Statues & Shapes burn approximately15 hours - these can be burned but are beautiful ornaments!
-
How big are the diffusers? Our Essential Reed diffuser is 100ml. It comes with 6 reeds. The Luxury Glass diffusers hold 200ml. This comes with 8 reeds. Our Car Diffuser is a 7.5 ml bottle.
-
What is the liquid in the diffusers? Our diffusers are made with Augeo Crystal Vegan Base, which is fully biodegradable, low odour and made from renewable feedstock.
-
How do I keep the fragrance fresh in the diffusers? You should turn your essential & luxury reed diffuser reeds daily to maintain the fragrance.
-
Where shall I burn my candle shapes? Please make sure that you burn your candle shapes on non polished surfaces. It is a good idea to place them on a coaster, tile or a piece of wood.
-
How do I clean my wax melt burner? Our melt burners are made from hand blown glass. To remove any wax in the melt reservoir, simply light a 2 hour only tea light for 2 minutes to release the set wax. Then gently wash in warm soapy water. NB some mirror finish or painted items may fade.
-
Will my wax melt burner get hot?Yes it might. Please keep away from children and place on a mat or non polished surface.
